There are plenty of things to do whilst moored up from our Marina – W Bates & Son, or if you are venturing further afield, you can see our favourites below!
If history is your thing, look no further. Within walking distance is Chertsey museum with a wealth information about the Abbey & the history of the town.
Slightly further afield is St Anns Hill Park which was a fort during the Iron age and is stacked with heritage; take a stroll here for a lovely afternoon – there’s even a few pubs and restaurants en route.
Further afield, there is Brooklands Museum, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court & London isn’t too far either!
Chertsey town also offers all the marvellous features of a small community. Chertsey FC play regularly or in the summer, the cricket green is a lovely open space to relax and take in the wickets.
There is also a bowls green, multiple play areas for children and lots of parks & open spaces.
For walking and rambling; we have the beautiful open meadowlands of Chertsey Meads surrounding the marina and tow path walks.
If food is your thing, from the marina there is a huge selection of pubs within walking and boating distance! Two pubs are at the end of the road, or you can walk the towpath or cruise the Thames to a multitude of others!
With thrilling Driving Experiences for all ages plus three floors of attractions and exhibits, Mercedes-Benz World is the perfect day out for the whole family.
Less than 10 minute drive away from the marina and home to over 30 thrilling rides, attractions & live events THORPE PARK Resort is the ultimate destination for thrill seekers featuring some of the UK’s most popular roller coasters.
Or for something a little different, why not try wake boarding or wake surfing? This incredibly popular relatively new water sport means you no longer need the ocean to catch a wave. Contact our friends over at LDB Wakeschool.
If being on the boat isn’t quite enough excitement, within the meadowlands surrounding our marina is a large children playground.
A walk in nature followed by swings and slides should help to use up some energy!
Also in Chertsey is the firm seasonal favourite – the Great Cockcrow railway.
We are a dog friendly marina and have grass areas surrounding the pontoons. All we ask is that you clear up after them and ensure they are well behaved. Walking them is easy from the marina – surrounded by Chertsey Meads – a huge open meadowland perfect for dog walking & tow paths in both directions.
The pub gardens near to us are also dog friendly too!
We look forward to welcoming you to our marina!
