Over the years, Bates Wharf have supported the activities carried out at Heron Lake, Wraysbury and 2023 is no different.

WHO ARE ACCESS ADVENTURES

Access Adventures is a registered charity delivering life-changing adaptive sports & activities. Our services are designed to challenge expectations and build self-confidence for people with disabilities.

Access Adventures now host regular camps and sessions, offering the opportunity to try waterskiing, wakeboarding, alpine skiing, kiting, biking, paddlesports and yoga.

​APRIL 2023

April 2023 we had the privilege of being on-site with Access Adventures with 5 Bates Wharf staff to assist with getting the lake ready for the season.

MISSION SET: “We’re getting a load of barley bales delivered today…so our mission on the 4th will be to put them through the Christmas tree netter and make giant barley sausages, then take them out and put them in the lake.”
